Talk Soup Chatsubo Part 1 of 666

He awoke swimming in an alphabet-chatsubo soup of denial. It was not nearly as disconcerting as floating in zero g's of net freefall. Gregor's hand reached for the switch of his jock stick but it wasn't there. Not that it wasn't there but he could not find it. In his freefloating denial of the soup. It was not as if this would be the first time but it might well be his last.
"What the fuck is the matter with you?!" It was Lonnie. Screaming.
"Uhhhh...."
"You're zonked again! You know you can't jock stick while on that shit!"
Gregor went with the flow and eddies of the soup while reaching out trying to find the switch, his remote, his lifeline.
"If you don't get to it soon, you're going to be horsemeat!"
Lonnie.
"Where are you," Gregor asked? "Can you do anything?"
"I'm InLine." She sounded desperate. "Do something!"
Gregor heard echo-y sloshing sounds and began to make out images peering out from the soup. Reds and greens. With growing alertness he righted himself, stood up, and grabbed the stick. It melted for a second and then was growing straight and up. It was long slick silver mounted on a dragonhead handle and very sharp.
You see, the problem was, he did the stonk and zonked and forgot or just couldn't UnPlug. And now he was stuck On. So it had to be played out. Lonnie being In could only watch. In horror.
Gregor had about a second's warning as the oozing green gelatinious mass sloshed sideways around the corridors wall forward. Almost on him. He stepped backwards on pools of red and slashed up, hacking off the foremost part of the ooze. It slimed to the floor but the rest kept coming. He sliced and diced and almost fell into the red. It stopped and he looked down at chopped body parts blood splashing out all over the stone. Limbs and various parts rolling, and a decapitated head in two parts, tongue planted firmly in cheek.
Was it real? Or The Alphabet-Chatsubo Talk Soup?
